When we think of the persecuted church we usually think of countries like North Korea, India, Myanmar, Nigeria and China. However, Christian communities facing oppression, hostility, and violence for their faith are far more common and widespread than we imagine.
"I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, been exposed to death again and again. Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods..." 2 Corinthians 11
On January 17, 2026 we received reports that three of our Maasai pastors were beaten with rods and forced to run barefoot through the rugged bush terrain by Maasai elders who refuse to accept Christ in their villages. Their goal is to run our pastors out.
In Tanzania church planting comes at a price!
In Tanzania church planting comes at a price!
Bodies beaten, flesh shredded, yet by God’s grace, they press on!
Pray for the safety of our pastors who are courageously and faithfully taking the gosple of salvation to the Maasai people.
howFar will you go?
