Back to Africa - July 2014

Renee & I are delighted to head back to Africa on July 10. 

We will meet Jim Kelly, How Far Foundation Board President, in Taveta, Kenya on July 11. Jim departed, with his family, for Tanzania and Kenya on July 3. The Kelly Team of six will tour and serve in several of howFar's projects in Maasai Villages and explore the vast and enchanting wilderness along the Kenya Tanzania border.

On July 13 we will celebrate the 9th Anniversary of the planting of howFar's first African Church - Lake Jipe Orkung'u Baptist Church.  

Then Renee, Jim and I will fly to Kigali, Rwanda to meet a team from Atlanta, Georgia. Our combined team will lead two large outdoor crusades - one in Kagina, Rwanda and the second in Mudja, DR Congo. 

While in Goma, DR Congo we will minister at howFar's Abused Women's Center and War Widows Center, at The How Far Foundation Orphanage, and at our Medical Clinic in Mudja.

Seven New howFar Churches in 2013!

God contuniues to grow His church in northeastern DR Congo! The howFar team, led by Pastor John Kilimbanyi, has planted 7 new churches in 2013.

There are now five churches near the City of Goma in North Kivu Province and three in the city of Bakavu in South Kivu Provence.
