Update from Thailand

We have completed the first week of our time here in Thailand and the team of 9 from The Family Church, First Baptist Sugar Hill has returned to Atlanta.

"Children from a government school answer questions asked about Jesus."

We had the privilege of sharing the story of the birth of our Savior with over 1400 children in three schools....twice as many as we thougt that we would see!

Our team endured 95 degree temperatures and 85% humidity to prayer walk through three areas in the Chaing Noi community and two Buddhist temples and the Royal Palace in Greater Bangkok.

"Bangkok Mission Team from The Family Church - FBC, Sugar Hill"

We had the unique privilege to spend a day at The Well, a rescue ministry for bar girls. The testimonies we heard from two of the women broke our hearts. We shared the true Christmas story with 35 women, worshiped with them (they in Thai and us in English), sang Christmas carols and shared testimonies. At the end of our presentation we were blessed to see a 14-year old bar girl give her life to Christ.

"A rescued prostitute accepts Christ as Lord and Savior."

Our family will be in Bang Sean for one week visiting Renee's brother, Richard, and his family and will return to Atlanta on the 30th.

Watch for the full story, with photos, of God's goodness and provision upon our return.
